This wont go wrong If we define Rahu as a planet of new world because Rahu has all those qualities among all the nine planet which are highly required to win the race , either it is politics or business one need to be very practical and logical and more important very quick in taking hard decisions. Rahu wont allow you to accept the things easily or holding trust on any body unless he process the situation logically, that’s why said as diplomatic planet. He is a taboo breaker , don’t let you believe on myths , unless processed logically and proven as true fact.

Rahu as head portion of Rahu-ketu axis is understood as materialistic planet , basically its planet of science, technology  and glamour , once can see mix effects of venus and mercury , thats why he is close friend of both,  He is more a planet of new era then the materialism. We can not even run without updating ourselves, Winning race is different thing . Only positive effect of rahu on 5th house or 5th house lord (brain) produces scientists , doctors, technocrats and powerful politicians . Rahu adds sharpness to the brain , Guru-Rahu yoga knows as a bad yoga just because guru directs one to believe on tradition , whatever has written over there , Rahu takes him away from past to the present world and make him aware what is reality. Thats why people with strong Rahu normally dont follow the traditions.

Rahu makes one skilled or research oriented because rahu let you force to choose   short cuts, this is the only criteria who make one skilled , only such people can invent new things who are expert in searching new ways. Placement of rahu in jupitrian sign is considered bad just because Guru reduces his sharpness and adds the jupitirian effect. Placement of Rahu with mercury and venus considered bad because with mercury he becomes too much money minded and try to speculate and venus he expects too much from relationships but controls on  self and keeping patience can help to take maximum mileage through both the planets, Positive site of this yoga is that one can have so many business ideas and very good broadminded relationships with the partner but yes something more can became dangerous.

Moon is very emotional planet , presence of rahu with moon can make person less sentimental, one can think with practical side of any relationship, which can harm another side for expecting more from this person, mangal -rahu combination can also harm in same way , mangal is planet of power and rahu flavor can make a person more hungry for power and using his power, similarly rahu gains the energies from the different houses he is placed in. Rahu in 10th can make one very professional, he adds his color in 10th house, for an example King khan shahrukh khas has rahu in 10th, Salman is famous for his statements who puts him in troubles , he has rahu in 2nd house (speech). Rahu as atmakaraka (a planet connected to atma) can only give real spiritual lessons, Ramakrishna paramhansa had rahu as his atmakaraka . Overall Rahu  has very vast range , one can not limit this planet even an article can not be sufficient to write, Rahu dasha and transit with different positions can give different experiences, Astrologers says rahu is planet of threats and cheats but I believe rahu only speedup the situation as like people with rahu in lagna expects too much in less efforts , this can definately put them in tough situation, People with rahu has to always fight with their enemies but as lawyers they can do extremely well.
